Eighteen Irish mobile tech firms will be present at the Enterprise Ireland pavilion at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, the epicentre of the global mobile revolution.
The Mobile World Congress takes place from 24-27 February. The 18 companies are a mix of early stage start-ups and more established companies.
For 2014, it is anticipated there will be more than 1,400 exhibitors and about 80,000 visitors at the event.
Amongst the early stage companies participating at the Enterprise Ireland stand are FCS Global, which provides global communications solutions, including voice, data and networking services to a variety of corporate customers worldwide, and HeyStaks Technologies, with its information discovery and knowledge analytics solution, will launch its international advertising product, which helps mobile operators know their customers through analysis of their search behaviours, thereby creating new sustainable revenue streams.
The more established companies include 3V Transaction Services, which provides mobile financial services to operators, FeedHenry, which assists operators in creating and managing mobile apps for businesses, and Brandtone, a global mobile marketing company that uses the power of big data to build and promote brands with mobile consumers.
