Startup Next will take place in April in Dublin's Silicon Docks

Exceptional start-ups are being encouraged to apply for the next phase of the TechStars Startup Next pre-accelerator backed by Bank of Ireland and Google for Entrepreneurs, which will return to Dublin in April.

Startup Next is a pre-accelerator designed by Techstars aimed at getting tech start-ups ready for accelerators and seed stage investment.

Startup Next does this by providing high-quality mentorship and leveraging a global network of investors, mentors and founders.

The pre-accelerator will be kicking off its next programme on 13 April at Google’s European HQ on Barrow Street, Dublin 2.

Over a six-week evening programme, successful candidates accepted on to Startup Next will have access to a high-tempo mentor-driven programme with weekly key speakers discussing areas such as customer acquisition, presenting, product market fit, market sizing and funding.

“Startup Next is a really intensive six-week programme that gives start-ups clarity in their value proposition, gets them in front of top mentors and speakers and prepares them for seed investment and accelerator programs,” explained Gene Murphy, entrepreneur-in-residence at Bank of Ireland and Startup Next Dublin organiser.

“Our previous cohorts have gone on to great things with their start-ups and we’re really looking forward to working with our next round of start-ups for our 2016 winter programme,” Murphy added.

Interested start-ups are being encouraged to start now and apply before the application deadline arrives on 30 March.
