Prisa Consulting, a new business process outsourcing (BPO) technology company headed by former Damovo Ireland boss John McCabe, is to invest €1.25m over the next three years to grow the business.

The company already employs 10 people and will create 20 new jobs over the next three years.

The new positions will include business analysts, business process and change management consultants, strategy and programme managers and several technical consultants with skills in disciplines such as telecommunications, network design and ERP systems.

In 2011, its first calendar year trading, turnover amounted to €1m, with 70pc of its business coming from UK clients.

The expansion has been funded by private investment of €250,000 to date, with a further €1m to be invested in the next three years to fund a business plan to achieve annual turnover of €4.5m by the end of 2014.

“Industry analysis shows that between 40pc and 60pc of ICT change projects fail,” McCabe said.

“The problem is that technology is put into an enterprise without the provider having a proper understanding of the customers, people, processes and systems.

“Our approach is to get the business process right before we identify and deploy a technology solution. This way we avoid project failure,” he added.
