ePub Direct expands into UK market

An Irish-based e-book management service that allows publishers to sell their products worldwide has extended to the UK market.

ePub Direct, which has been in operation for 18 months, handles all aspects of e-book management, from distribution to billing, and the Cork-based organisation aims to capitalise on this move and generate further growth.

Thrilled

“We are thrilled there is such a demand for this product both in Ireland and in the UK. It’s great that a small company based in Cork can solve a problem for small to large publishers alike, both at home and abroad. This will allow us to grow our team further, creating further employment and securing DirecteBooks as the knowledge leader in this sector,” said Gareth Cuddy, CEO and founder of ePub Direct.

Cuddy said this gives them a unique insight into each end of the supply chain and highlighted areas that need to be improved.

“We are delighted to be offering independent publishers the widest possible range of outlets for their titles, giving them instant impact in the e-book marketplace.”

The e-book management service enables publishers to market their e-books through more than 65 online retailers worldwide with a single upload and aims to simplify getting e-books to market.
