The IET Ireland is hosting a free workshop this Thursday, which is open to start-ups and academics who wish to learn about how to pitch to win funding.
Mark Needham of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) Ireland says the event, which will be held at the Alexander Hotel, Dublin 2, on 13 January at 7pm, will give people insight on the right way to go about securing funding.
Speakers will include Alan Watts, director of Halo, the Northern Ireland business angel network.
Watts has himself led the rebranding of his start-up Yelo, which was subsequently acquired by the Canadian firm Mindready. Since then he has been active as a business angel in the technology sector.
The entrepreneur and sales professional Andrew Keogh will also speak at the ‘How to Pitch to Win Funding’ seminar.
Places are limited so people should register by emailing mneedham@theiet.org.
