Interview: Conor Lynch of BOSS Metrics on helping firms embrace social media (video)

19 Oct 2012

Siliconrepublic.com caught up with social media entrepreneur Conor Lynch at the Dublin Web Summit, where he filled us in on his plan to make all businesses experts at social networking.

Lynch, who set up SocialMedia.ie, connector.TV and Share-O-Meter.com, was one of the earliest proponents of social media marketing in Ireland.

He explained that the idea behind BOSS Metrics is to help business professionals stick with their social media education.

Many executives, he said, attend social media training courses but the real challenge is helping them to keep their training fresh in their minds and make use of it in their companies.

BOSS Metrics kicks in after the training course, setting executives tasks that help them build up experience in using social media tools like Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and LinkedIn, and making the medium work for their businesses.

Clients of BOSS Metrics include Sureskills, Enterprise Ireland, Dublin City Enterprise Board, and Digital Marketing Institute.
