NDRC seeks applicants for LaunchPad accelerator

20 Jun 2011

The National Digital Research Centre’s (NDRC) LaunchPad accelerator programme is looking for applications from entrepreneurs with great concepts in the digital space by the closing date of 8 July.

NDRC LaunchPad is a three-month accelerator, focused on moving ideas to income. To date, it has seen 105 start-ups pitching ideas and supported 28 start-up companies.

A workshop for applicants will take place at NDRC in Dublin 8 on 30 June at 6pm, providing potential applicants with a vision of the programme and a chance to meet previous participants.

Successful applicants will receive an investment of up to €20,000 and move into a dedicated space alongside other start-ups. They will get hands-on mentoring; weekly workshops and networking with investors, successful entrepreneurs and professionals.

Culminating with ‘Lift Off’

The programme will run from this September to November. It culminates with the ‘Lift Off’ competition, where all participating start-ups pitch their products or services to a panel of investors and successful entrepreneurs, competing for a follow-on investment.

Participating start-ups span market domains of financial services, entertainment and media, sales and marketing services, enterprise and consumer, and all are targeted at customer development and international scaling.

Application forms for LaunchPad are available online.
