New expo to help midlands businesses grow

1 Oct 2010

An expo around the midlands for anyone starting or growing a business is set to attract a wide selection of would-be entrepreneurs and business people.

The ‘Start and Grow Enterprise Expo’, taking place in the Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise, on 8 October, is aimed at entrepreneurs of all levels – those starting a business, expanding a business, finding out what supports are available or reviewing alternative ways to achieve performance excellence in business.

Market opportunities

The day-long expo will be divided into three sections – the “Start”, “Grow” and “Market Opportunities” seminars, where key speakers and names in national and international enterprise will have a platform to share expertise and experience with business people, budding entrepreneurs, students and the general public.

Businesses can take advantage of the open networking possibilities with like-minded entrepreneurs and business leaders at the expo, and can find more information online.

The ‘Start and Grow Enterprise Expo’ is an initiative of Laois Partnership Company, Enterprise Ireland, Laois Chamber, Laois County Enterprise Board and the Laois County Council.
