A new online health directory catering for alternative health practitioners and service providers has been launched.
The website, healthdirectory.ie gives the general public free access to of information about practitioners in Ireland.
“We wanted users to make an informed decision when it comes to their health issues. Healthdirectory.ie is an easy-to-navigate site containing contact and website details about a host of conventional and alternative practitioners, such as GPs, dentists, physiotherapists, chiropodists, nutritionists, counsellors, children’s health professionals and so much more. In fact, the list is almost inexhaustible,” said the creator of the website.
The initiative has received grant aid from local enterprise and development organisations.
