Start-up ExSite Communications designs Rosanna Davison’s blog and celebrates 1st birthday

11 Jun 2010

After one year, ExSite has amassed its 150th client and launches three new website brands.

ExSite, which was set up by Tom Ponsonby, Juyong Kim and Róisín Haugh, three TCD graduates, is based on Baggot Street and designs websites, as well as providing digital design, management and marketing services.

This week ExSite celebrated its first birthday as well as that fact that it has already garnered 150 clients, including Rosanna Davison, whose blog the company has developed.

Davison was at hand this week at ExSite’s part in Residence, where she helped Tom Ponsonby, ExSite’s founder and MD, cut the company’s first birthday cake, which was made by one of its clients Bakemycake.ie. She was also launching her blog at the event.

Davison herself first heard about ExSite through the actress Holly White after they made her blog, www.holly.ie

“We were thrilled when Rosanna said that she’d like to launch the new site that we’d made for her at our party,” says Ponsonby.

“I think that Rosanna was keen to work closely with a young company that would understand her digital needs and could offer a professional but flexible and dynamic service”.

Launch of three new brands

ExSite has also launched three new brands dedicated to meeting the website and digital marketing needs of specific areas of the Irish economy.

Explains Ponsonby: “ExSite’s brands eDoctor.ie, eDentist.ie, and eSolicitor.ie are intended to put the company in prime position to bring those professions online in Ireland. In comparison to the US and even the UK, Ireland is slightly behind when it comes to the use digital marketing as a tool for these professions.

“eDoctor, eDentist and eSolicitor will enable ExSite to build up industry experience to better provide website, graphic design, and digital marketing services to those specific market segments”

Blog offers digital-marketing advice for self-starters

ExSite also runs its own blog, offering snippets of advice on the areas of digital marketing, website domains and how to market your business on a small budget

ExSite  has a sister company, ExSite Politics (ePolitics.ie), a website provider in the Irish political sector.
