Launched in April of this year, The Marketing Shop Ireland’s vision has been to think like a retailer, ie sell the customer only what they want, not what the owners Debbie and Ray McDonnell, think they need.
The couple spent their formative careers in roles which included marketing, sales, PR, event management, customer service and training and have recently included web design as part of The Marketing Shop‘s offering.
Before setting up the company, their research indicated that many SMEs are keen to explore new options such as creating a web presence or exploring social media, but don’t have the in-house experience or time to look at all the options that are available.
To date, The Marketing Shop Ireland has worked with customers in a range of industries, including IT, software, alternative healthcare, motor trade and retail, providing them with tailored plans.
“As their business grows and the market evolves, we will work with them on future plans on an ad-hoc or contract basis,” said McDonnell.
The Marketing Shop’s specialities include social media training, social media design, marketing and management, digital marketing, search engine marketing, e-marketing and traditional marketing such as brochures.
