The bank is teaming up with its website SmallBusinessCan.com to create the Business Women Can platform, which it says will provide information on business challenges across all sectors.

Ulster Bank said there will also be a networking forum to allow women entrepreneurs to share business stories and advice with other women who are running businesses.

It said there will e articles, tools, templates and information on events.

Ulster Bank is also adding a Woman Led Business category in its Business Achievers competition, which will be accepting entries for the 2012 awards this November.
