Dublin-based B2B online directory Waybiz.com has announced the launch of Ireland’s Most Trusted Vendors Awards 2011.
The aim of the awards is to recognise Ireland’s best vendors in seven business categories in B2B industries.
Waybiz.com aims to build trust between businesses on the strength of their independently verified testimonials. Waybiz.com features more than 25,000 client recommendations from 55,000 businesses in more than 110 countries.
“Over 13,000 new businesses were formed last year showing the increasing need of finding the right and trusted vendors that can help you either make more money or save cost,” said Abhinav Chugh, CEO of Waybiz.com.
“The current harsh economic status only serves to worsen the problems attached to the function of remaining solid in the business world. Trust today is the biggest fear and the most respected accolade for buyers and vendors respectively, trading both in local and global markets.
“The awards aim to offer a great opportunity that will help businesses, small companies, start-ups and entrepreneurs in finding the right vendors and partners without any difficulty and hesitation. It will also provide an opportunity to businesses in promoting their offerings and credibility through their satisfied clients recommendations and credible seal of trusted vendor,” Abhinav continued.
There is no entry fee for any of the Irish businesses in the selected seven B2B (business to business) industries. The business is required to have at least three testimonials from its clients. The winner will be announced in mid-May on the basis of the client recommendations, transparent customer details, client diversity and a voting done on their company profiles.
Each entry will receive a free verified Testimonial Seal from Waybiz.com and a personal profile on their website. The winning companies will be awarded premium profiles on Waybiz.com for two years, the top-slot position for three months for the respective industry, free Verification & Verified Testimonial Seal to all their testimonials and many other awards from the sponsor companies.
The awards are designed for small enterprises with no more than 50 employees. They will be separated into one of the following business categories: Financial and Legal Services, Marketing and Advertising, IT and Web Services, Business Consultancy and Coaching, Printing and Graphic Design, Business Services and Manufacturing and Products.
The deadline for entries is 8 May, with awards to be handed out shortly afterwards.
