Bob Barker and Adam Sandler during their sketch to raise awareness for autism programmes.

This week in viral videos, Adam Sandler and Bob Barker reunite, gingers vent their frustrations and a young chef prodigy breaks a few eggs.

About 100 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute, 500 years of video watched on Facebook every day, and more than 700 YouTube videos shared on Twitter each minute, ensuring there is always video trending on the web.

With so much video available for viewing, we take a look at some of the viral videos that have caught our eye this week.

Adam Sandler and Bob Barker re-ignite on-screen hatred

Ok, so actor Adam Sandler and 91-year-old former Price is Right host Bob Barker don’t hate each other, but their escapades during one of the biggest comedy films of the 1990s, Sandler’s Happy Gilmore has remained in the memory of many.

In the film, Sandler, as Happy Gilmore, plays a round of celebrity golf with Bob that gets a little out of hand with Happy saying the infamous line, “The price is wrong, b**ch!”

Nine years later, the two reunited to fight it out once again but this time, it was all in the aid of raising awareness for various autism programmes.

Safe to say, once again, Bob has the last laugh.

You can’t become a prodigy chef without breaking a few eggs

Set your faces to ‘aww’ as you watch a 16-month-old girl, with the help of her parents, set herself up to be a future master-chef with the help of a few eggs.

Donned in a traditional chef hat, the girl rather impressively breaks an egg off the side of the kitchen table that many have tried and horribly failed.

She even manages to get the yoke into the mixing bowl without a single piece of shell getting in.

Fair dues, now, just teach me your ways!

Love Has No Labels

In a bid to get you right in the ‘feels’, the rather boringly-named Ad Council have pulled off a very nice tribute as to how best to show that regardless of how we look or act, love between two people has no physical or cultural boundaries.

With the help of an x-ray bodyscanner (once so vehemently condemned when proposed for airports by the US Transport Security Administration) they show how it’s impossible to tell the difference between people – whether they’re female, male, black, white etc – just by looking at their bones.

So ask yourself whether you’re biased when it comes to looking at different races and, as the campaign says, “Let’s put aside labels in the name of love.”

The not-so magic door

To quote Kirk Van Houten in The Simpsons, “It’s a door, use it!” So step forward YouTuber MagicofRahat and his magic door prank.

To be honest, as far as magic tricks go, it’s pretty basic and is explained in the first moments of the video, destroying any illusions.

Regardless, he still manages to trick people into thinking he’s walking into a door in the middle of a park and totally disappearing.

My personal favourite is the woman whose only reaction is “nope”, much like what I think of the magic trick.

Don’t wear a stripy jumper on American news

Ouch. Burn. These are the words that come to mind. Not much to say about this one really except to be aware that if you’re going to wear a black-and-white striped top on the Fox 2 channel in St Louis, expect to be made fun of by birthday-boy Tim Ezell.

April Simpson, the target, no doubt got her revenge in many painful ways.

Things gingers are tired of hearing

This journalist doesn’t usually fall for Buzzfeed’s viral videos attempts, but as a ginger myself, you can’t help but put your fist out to bump and say, “I feel you, bro.”

Much of the gags revolve around us fair-skinned ginger folk having to become self-taught geneticists in trying to attempt to explain questions over whether we’re going extinct?, why are my parents not red-haired?, and whether we do in fact have a soul, contrary to popular belief.

The video even raises the suggestion that making stereotypical comments about gingers is racist? I’ll leave that can of worms firmly closed, thank you very much … Viva la ginger revolucion!

Guy performs WWE wrestling moves on girls

YouTube personalities. Whether you hate them or simply find them annoying, you can’t avoid their popularity with the ‘yoof’ of today.

One such example is Joe Weller’s whose nasally voice could tear wallpaper off the wall with ease, but this week made a name for himself by attempting WWE wrestling moves on girls in his swimming pool (these guys are all loaded now, didn’t you know?)

Hilariously having to offer a comment disclaimer three days after the video went up asking people to not try this at home in their LA swimming pool, Weller manages to safely dunk two other YouTubers, known as the Merrel Twins.

I did enjoy however the commentary of Jim ‘JR’ Ross with a series of ‘Bah gawwdd!” lines.

Domino Etch-A-Sketch

Last, but certainly not least, is an entry rocketing up the viral video chart for its amazing domino Etch-A-Sketch layout.

Made by the guys over at Bulk Dominos, the entire scene took approximately 1,500 dominos to put together with the follow-up scene needing as many as 5,000.

This is some serious dedication by the team and it was cool of them to leave in a collection of fails during the whole process. It’s a good thing nobody sneezed…
