You might have noticed Siri trending on Twitter over the last day or so — and you’re probably wondering what changes Apple has made to its digital personal assistant to send it shooting up the trending charts.
However, Siri being in the news actually doesn’t have anything to do with software updates or new capabilities, its the digital assistant’s response to a simple question that has captured people’s imagination.
When you ask Siri, ‘what is zero divided by zero?’, it gives you an answer that is just filled with attitude:
“Imagine that you have zero cookies and you split them equally among zero friends. How many cookies does each person get? You see, it doesn’t make sense, and Cookie Monster is sad that there are no cookies and you are sad because you have no friends.”
So, ask Siri a maths question and she tells you that you have no friends. Harsh.
It appears that the question started trending after Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul posted this tweet yesterday morning…

So, careful what you ask Siri, because she just might give you some sass back…
