Susan McPherson, founder and CEO of McPherson Strategies, explains why more and more companies are taking a stand when it comes to societal issues.

Susan McPherson took to the stage at Inspirefest 2018 to talk about “the new world of corporate responsibility”, which she deals with every day as founder and CEO of McPherson Strategies, a communications consultancy that develops, amplifies and shares stories of corporate social responsibility and philanthropy.

“When I think of the new world of corporate responsibility, I am thinking about a new moral authority that is existing today, and thankfully so,” said McPherson, before she went on to explain why we now see companies taking on social impact causes that, in years gone by, they never would have touched on.
