An event being held by the Embassy of France in Ireland will showcase some of the most innovative and actionable solutions to climate change.
According to the latest rankings by the Climate Action Network (CAN), Ireland is the second-worst in the EU when it comes to fulfilling the conditions of the Paris Agreement.
It might do Ireland some good to take a leaf out of France’s book. France ranks third in the CAN rankings and has demonstrated time and time again that it is committed to swift and decisive action around battling climate change.
We chatted to the French Ambassador to Ireland, H.E. Stéphane Crouzat, about the French Embassy’s upcoming event on 5 November, ‘Creative Responses to Climate Change: A Marketplace For Ideas’, as well as its open call for innovative projects, running until 30 September.
