The Digital Hub, NCAD and H2 Learning honour the latest graduates from the Future Creators after-school digital skills education programme.

Founded by The Digital Hub in 2011, the Future Creators programme invites students aged 13 to 16 from the Dublin 8 area to participate in an after-school digital skills education programme. Among other things, they learn coding, app development, digital photography, robotics and filmmaking.

The Future Creators course is delivered in partnership with the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) and H2 Learning, a Digital Hub company. The graduation ceremony was hosted by academic and writer Sinéad Burke who said that the programme has “genuinely transformed a whole community”.

Minister Denis Naughten, TD, also attended the event to offer his congratulations to the Future Creators graduates and commend the programme for its achievements.

“If we can replicate [Future Creators] across the country, it would really be phenomenal,” he said.
