The people at Globoforce have noticed an increased demand for their services as employers and businesses try to get an edge. Yet how does Globoforce itself make its employees feel appreciated?

When you’re in the business of making workplaces the best they can be for their employees, your own firm’s employee welfare practices are sure to be heavily scrutinised. This is certainly the case for Globoforce, yet it is not hampered by expectation – for many reasons, it can handle the close examination.

One of those reasons, as engineering vice-president Ronan O’Dulaing explained, is because it has a clear vision that imbues the work with purpose. When people want to try new things, they are encouraged. Risk-taking, when executed successfully, is rewarded.

These things, though essentially simple, can create a chain reaction that leads to better business.
