To hear about the most sought-after skills in autotech, we visited Jaguar Land Rover in Shannon and got some insights from various members of staff.
Maura Lane, a software project manager at the company, told us about the most “highly admired traits” for anyone looking to join the company’s “very diverse set of employees”.
These included technical skills such as programming languages and safety analysis skills. But also important to the company is “a good sense of humour” and “anyone that’s eager and willing to disrupt the norm”.
Additionally, we learned about some of the roles currently on offer at Jaguar Land Rover, from functional safety engineers to software architects.
