Earlier this year, we visited Jaguar Land Rover’s base in Shannon to learn more about its projects and its people.

John Cormican, the general manager and site lead for Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Shannon, told us about the diverse projects currently being undertaken by the company.

“We’re looking at fundamentally changing the entire electrical architecture of the vehicle, which is a big thing for us,” he said. This includes functional vehicle safety and new connectivity features.

We also spoke to Richard Taylor, a member of the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems department who is running JLR’s Graduate Innovation Challenge, and HR team member Jessica O’Neill highlighted some of the most important traits that JLR looks for in new hires.
