Mastercard’s Ann-Marie Clyne talks about the traits the company looks for in its candidates and the types of roles available in Dublin.

Payments giant Mastercard has been on a massive hiring spree since 2020, especially in areas of tech following the opening of its new European Technology Hub in Dublin.

Ann-Marie Clyne, vice-president of people and capability, spoke to SiliconRepublic.com about some of the roles that are available and what candidates need to know.

“We have a number of software engineering roles, software engineering and test roles, programme manager roles, UX designer roles, and importantly we have senior leadership roles,” she said.

“Some of the traits that we look for would be being creative, being curious, being innovative. We don’t want anybody to compromise on their uniqueness to come here and work here at Mastercard.”
