Silicon Republic’s Ann O’Dea headed to Slush in Helsinki to talk to some of the Irish companies that are making big plans in the region.
The Nordics is a hot region for Irish start-ups and companies right now – that was made clear to Silicon Republic CEO Ann O’Dea when she headed to Slush 2022 last month.
According to Hannah Fraser, Nordic region director at Enterprise Ireland, more than 460 Enterprise Ireland-supported companies export to the Nordics, with exports reaching €1.24bn in 2021, a 30pc increase on the previous year.
O’Dea caught up with some of the Irish companies attending the start-up and tech conference in Helsinki to find out more about their expansion plans in the region.
