Technology can help bring music alive and lift it off the black and white pages of musical notation, according to Pierre Blaise Dionet.

Pierre Blaise Dionet does not believe that the current way of teaching music is built for purpose. The disproportionate focus on learning to read music, and then reproducing it, glazes over vitally important elements of music – namely, understanding how sentiment and texture can be incorporated into playing style.

Drawing inspiration from his favourite jazz greats, Dionet demonstrated to the crowd at Inspirefest 2019 how geometry and technology can be used to reframe music and encourage creativity during the learning process.
