Following the release of the global PwC CEO survey, we spoke to technology consultant David Lee about the information gap facing Irish organisations that are seeking to leverage their data.

This year’s PwC CEO survey, ‘Finding growth in an uncertain world’, explored how business leaders are preparing for growth in challenging times.

In it, 92pc of Irish CEOs surveyed said their customer data is important for long-term decision-making, but only 12pc said their data is comprehensive.

PwC calls this the ‘information gap’ between the data organisations need and the data they receive, and technology consulting lead David Lee said it can be caused by a number of factors.

Lee also offered his advice on how organisations can make better use of technology and data to achieve lasting results and effect meaningful business transformation.
