In February 2017, Silicon Republic sat down with Station F director Roxanne Varza while she was visiting Dublin, to discuss the plans for a huge start-up city about to open in Paris.

Station F, the world’s biggest start-up campus, opened in July 2017. The supersized incubator has enough space to house the Eiffel Tower and offers start-ups an ecosystem in which to connect and grow.

One year on from our first meeting, Varza said: “We didn’t want to be ‘just’ a big campus, but actually do something meaningful.”

In that pre-launch interview, we learn how Varza and her team set out to bring Station F to where it is today, and onward.
