Global head of people and culture at Hays, Sandra Henke, explained how behaviour in the workplace is transforming at Inspirefest 2017.

Sandra Henke’s work means she is extremely aware of how people psychologically interact within the workplace.

In particular, she is cognisant of how flexi-time, changing priorities and an ever-disintegrating corporate hierarchy are impacting how people behave at work.

Henke said it is important for employers to go “beyond the brand speak”, in order to ensure that every new person they bring into the fold will be able to gel well with their surroundings and be their “authentic self”.

Citing Harvard research at Inspirefest 2017, Henke advocated for promoting authenticity in the workplace to help employees unlock their full potential.
