Simone George and Mark Pollock explain how their work bringing scientists together could lead to a medical breakthrough.

As Simone George and Mark Pollock point out, it has been, up to this point, impossible to find a cure for paralysis. This is something they want to change.

Both possess an innate spirit of exploration and a belief that, just like humankind has conquered the most unwelcoming corners of the Earth, so too can they face challenges in the world of medicine head-on.

The key to this, George and Pollock believe, is fostering collaboration between research teams. To hear more about their work, check out the talk they gave at Inspirefest 2019.
