Dr Sue Black explains how she disrupted her own life and how you can, too.

How do you turn a life full of disruption and chaos on its head?

No stranger to the stage, Sue Black tackled this very issue at Inspirefest 2017, offering a harrowing picture of her situation before she became a social entrepreneur.

“My life had been disrupted but I really wanted to be the person taking charge,” she said.

From earning a PhD, to saving Bletchley Park, to meeting Queen Elizabeth, Black has come a long way.

“I’ve spent a lot of my life scared. In the beginning, my life was being disrupted and someone was scaring me, but I kind of changed it around and started scaring myself.

“And the thing is, when you do these scary things, the more you do them, the more fun it gets!”
