This past weekend, Ireland’s largest tech recruitment event, Career Zoo, took place in the Convention Centre Dublin. Fidelity Investments was on site to spread the word about careers with the company.
Siliconrepublic.com spoke to Steve Ashmore, Head of Technology Services and SVP at Fidelity, about recruitment and what’s important to the company.
Ashmore talked about the competitive jobs market, and how candidates now have a lot more choices. He suggested this was a great way to encourage businesses to constantly remain at the top of their game.
He discussed what Fidelity looks for from candidates, the many ways a person can build a career at the company, and the importance placed on diversity.
