In the latest episode, we hear from Deborah Threadgold, country general manager of IBM Ireland, about her incredible career journey and her thoughts on the changing world of tech.
She said that ethics and transparency are key parts of IBM, especially as emerging tech continues to evolve. “We’ve seen all this information in the news, we’re hearing about AI and potential issues around copyright breach and we’re hearing about hallucinations and let’s not forget that we’ve seen the EU AI Act coming in,” she said.
“It strikes me [that] we are moving more and more towards a regulatory environment.”
