Viasat Ireland is a place where everybody knows your name after just a week of working there, according to technical sales engineer Megan Jermain.
We recently took a trip to the Viasat Ireland offices in Dublin, where the team is focused on developing in-flight software products, and spoke to two employees – Agile coach Des O’Sullivan and technical sales engineer Megan Jermain – about life at the company.
Jermain described the atmosphere as an “open and inclusive environment”, a bit like the television show Cheers, where “literally anyone in the building after a week knows your name”.
“If I have an idea, I can see it become a reality here,” she added. “And also, there’s a lot of room for growth – you’re not confined to just your role, you can expand and it’s encouraged to reach into the different areas.”
