HR and recruitment professionals also need to think about the future of work, and what it might mean for their roles within the business.
We spoke to Vodafone Ireland’s HR director, James Magill, about the major trends he foresees within the HR sphere.
He said recruiting young talent should be on everyone’s agenda. “Here in Ireland, we have the lowest levels of unemployment we’ve seen in nine years. Those unemployment levels are actually higher for youths,” he said.
“We have an opportunity and a need to continue to invest in the young talent in the Irish market.”
