What IT career should you be looking into? (infographic)

Maths, statistics and software engineering are tops in terms of IT careers, according to an infographic that looks at the best and worst degree and career options in the IT job market.

The infographic designed by Gryffin Media and published on Visual.ly begins by listing degrees and the potential careers that can be had with that degree. Next up are the best and worst jobs, taking into account income, stress, physical demands, emotional environment and job growth potential.

Mathematician, statistician and software engineer make up the top 3 on the highest-ranking IT careers in 2014 list.

The infographic also charts the lowest-ranking IT careers this year, with nuclear decontamination technician coming in as the lowest-ranking IT job.
