Fenergo: ‘We thrive on seeing our teammates succeed’

22 Apr 2016

Software solutions company Fenergo, headquartered in Dublin, is undoubtedly one of Ireland’s fintech success stories.

Founded in Ireland in 2009, Fenergo now delivers software solutions for investment, private and corporate banks around the world.

Over the intervening years, Fenergo has gone global, with offices in London, Boston, New York, Sydney, Tokyo and Abu Dhabi.

After a great year in 2015, pulling in €85m in investments, the Fenergo team has grown too, with the company creating more than 200 jobs last year.

Suzann Baker, HR director at Fenergo, says this places the company in a great position: “This gives us a huge platform for growth, so we’re making a huge investment in our product, our teams and opening additional offices around the world.”

With that investment in staff, there are great opportunities for career development at the company.

“Staff are key to our business and, no matter how long you’re working for Fenergo, every employee is put on a development plan to help them work towards their career and professional goals,” said Baker.

That development plan comes in a variety of forms, from the company’s graduate programme to the ongoing coaching culture.

And working there can go beyond benefiting your career, and beyond perks like flexi-hours, working from home, and relocation opportunities.

“We’re small enough that everyone creates an impact,” said Baker.

“People have the opportunity to create something great in this company.”
