Digital Marketing Institute launches masters in digital marketing

2 Jul 2012

The Digital Marketing Institute has introduced a masters in digital marketing, a two-year programme aimed at marketing professionals and students.

As with all courses at the institute, the masters in digital marketing is an industry-led programme developed and taught by professionals working in the sector.

The course is aimed at experienced marketing and communications professionals and graduates, particularly those with a previous qualification at honours-degree level, who are looking to enhance their skills to suit the rapidly evolving digital sector.

“There is a severe shortage of digitally trained marketing professionals,” said Ian Dodson, chief executive of the Digital Marketing Institute. “From our relationships with some of the world’s largest organisations – many based in Ireland – we have determined that there is a strong demand for marketers with advanced expertise and knowledge of marketing on the web.”

Dodson claims that graduates of this master’s programme will be in the top 5pc of digital marketers in the country.

Open evenings and breakfast briefings on the course will be held over the coming months. Go to the website for more information.
