Animal Band - Nursery Rhymes
StoryToys, the Dublin-based digital publisher of 3D interactive books and games for children, has gone live with a new app – Animal Band – Nursery Rhymes – that doesn’t follow the book format of previous releases.
The app went live in the Apple App Store for iOS devices and will be coming soon to Android.
Last month, we reported that the company’s last app Goodnight Mo went to No 1 in the Books category of the US App Store charts.
StoryToys is best known for its 3D pop-up storybook apps based on classic fairytales, but has recently been focusing on fully original products conceived and created entirely in-house.
Animal Band – Nursery Rhymes further expands the StoryToys range as the first in a new musical series for young children. It provides a fresh take on perennial favourite nursery rhymes such as Twinkle Twinkle and Row Your Boat.
The musical toy allows children to play along to their favourite nursery rhymes and create their own musical arrangements with simple taps and swipes. Each jungle animal plays a different instrument, which can be brought into play to add to the song.
“Music and rhyme can benefit toddlers in so many ways, improving learning capabilities and cognitive skills and can also be a great bonding experience between parent and child,” said Barry O’Neill, CEO.
“But most of all Animal Band has the charm factor. It’s an adorable musical app that we hope will enchant children as they play with the lovable animals and discover charming surprises in each scene,” O’Neill said.
