Cable & Wireless has appointed Philip Cross commercial manager for its Irish operation. He will be responsible for planning and implementing the company’s commercial development, from forecasting through to bid approvals and contracts. He has been involved in the telecoms industry for 12 years, having previously held senior marketing and product management roles with Energis and Verizon. Cross’s educational background includes a politics degree from Reading University and an MSc in marketing from Strathclyde University. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
