euNetworks, owner and operator of one of Europe’s highest capacity fibre networks and provider of mission critical infrastructure and services, has appointed Charles Cernicky vice-president of network operations. A veteran of the telecommunications industry, Cernicky previously held a number of senior executive positions at Broadwing Communications, MCI/Verizon and Abovenet. With more than 20 years senior operations management experience, Cernicky will be responsible for the management of all activities associated to the highly valuable pan-European all fibre network. This includes the management of day-to-day customer implementations, and the management and monitoring of Europe’s densest metropolitan networks in Germany, the Netherlands, Paris, London and Dublin.
