Salesforce.com has appointed Chris Boorman as vice-president marketing, EMEA to build on the company’s success in Europe to date. Boorman brings more than 15 years’ marketing experience to Salesforce.com, most recently with Veritas, where he spent eight years with responsibility for European marketing. Having moved across from OpenVision when the company was acquired by Veritas, Boorman grew the marketing team from two employees to over 70 full-time staff. He has also held various key positions at Oracle. Boorman will be tasked with driving the marketing campaign across the EMEA region, extending the partner network and further increasing the company’s European customer base.
