ETrip Services Ireland recently announced the appointment of David Molloy as sales manager for direct sales. As sales manager, Molloy will be responsible for sales directly to the consumer. As part of his role, Molloy will recruit over 100 part-time staff for customer care duties at eTrip customer car-parking sites and distribution of point of sale (POS) throughout Ireland. As well as being involved in the recruitment process, Molloy will manage eTrip’s customer care training program and will be actively involved in the promotion of the eTrip services nationwide. Molloy has over 10 years experience in sales both in Ireland and overseas. He was responsible for event organising for Kuss Enterprises, an excursion company based in Gran Canaria. His responsibilities included liaising with tour operators and recruiting, training and setting of daily targets for all agents selling a range of guided tours to the public. In 2007, Molloy returned to Ireland and joined Hays Recruitment Specialists where he worked as an IT recruitment consultant. His responsibilities included sales development calls, holding interviews, screening and sending CVs and data entry.
