Dr Maurice Cox, has been appointed to the board of directors in Helix Health. During his previous job with McKinsey, Cox worked extensively with both the Irish and UK healthcare systems. He left McKinsey in 2003 to co-found The Well, a community based healthcare company. In addition to providing GP screening and occupational health services, The Well also operates at the SwiftCare Clinics in partnership with the VHI. Cox holds a B.A in Medicine from Trinity College Dublin, an M.Phil. in skeletal biology from Cambridge University, and is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
