Panduit Europe, a global leader in innovative solutions for electrical and network connectivity applications, has appointed Pat Bennett to the position of account manager, Datacom (Ireland). An MBA graduate of the Smurfit School of Business with a BSc (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, Bennett is tasked with raising Panduit’s profile in Ireland, earning end-user specification preference for the company’s network connectivity products and increasing discretionary business through existing distribution channels. Bennett brings a wealth of business development and account management experience to his new role having previously worked as an independent business development consultant for several years, in addition to holding the positions of sales manager with Webtrade and European sales manager with ORBIT/FR-Europe in Munich.
