Skillnets
Skillnets funds and facilitates training through 70 networks of private sector companies around the country in a wide range of sectors including ICT, health, food and
drink and life sciences. Each network delivers courses that are relevant to specific industry and member company needs. Job-seekers can also attend courses at no cost and with no impact on social welfare benefits. Job-seekers train with those in employment allowing them to network and keep up to date with their sector/region while participating in relevant industry-specific training programmes. Skillnets is funded from the National Training Fund through the Department of Education and Skills.
