Fintech has quickly become one of the biggest sectors in tech. With 2017 looking like the year of blockchain, and PSD2 taking over the banking world, there’s a lot of technology pouring over the banking industry.

In fact, fintech has opened up a whole world of employment in the financial sector, and in the spirit of Fintech 2017, we’ve rounded up six companies that are hiring for multiple fintech roles right now.
Accenture
Accenture is a global professional services company and provides strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations services.
Its headquarters have been in Dublin since 2009 and it is currently looking to fill fintech roles, including a finance and risk transformation manager, a financial consultant and an accounting associate manager.
Aon
Aon is a multinational corporation that provides risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage and investment banking.
The fintech corporation is hoping to fill roles in accounting, insurance, pensions, UX, data and analysis.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch
Bank of America Merrill Lynch is one of the world’s largest financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small/medium businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk management products and services.
The financial giant is naturally a big fintech recruiter and is looking for a number of analysts and development leads.
Fidelity Investments
Fidelity Investments is another big player in the fintech industry, aiming to make financial expertise broadly accessible and effective in helping people live the lives they want.
Currently celebrating its 20th anniversary in Ireland, Fidelity Investments has a number of vacancies in software development, cybersecurity, UX design and account management.
Paypal
The online payments system, PayPal was set up in 1998 and has its American headquarters in California. Its European operations centres in Dundalk and Dublin are important hubs for customer support.
At the moment, PayPal are hiring desktop support technicians, compliance analysts, and engineers in both Dublin and Dundalk.
Pramerica
Irish fintech company Pramerica provide business and technology services to its parent company, Prudential Financial, which in turn provides financial products and services to retail and institutional customers in over 30 countries.
Founded in 2000, Pramerica is now looking for several candidates across a number of roles, including financial analysts, fintech java developers and project managers. Graduate positions are also available.
