Eamon Ryan TD, is the Government minister responsible for communications, energy and natural resources.

At the Dublin Web Summit, he talked about his “big idea” of how computing and the internet can help save the planet.

Ryan was first elected to Dáil Éireann in 2002. Prior to his current appointment, he was the Green Party spokesperson for Transport and Enterprise, Trade and Employment, and opposition convener on the Joint Oireachtas Committee for Communication, Marine and Natural Resources.
