At the top of a stellar career, Dr Anita Sands thought herself a fearless changemaker – until her baby girl showed her what one really looks like.
Over the years, career pivots have taken Dr Anita Sands from physics into public policy, from academia to financial services, from banking into tech, from Ireland to Canada, from Wall Street to Silicon Valley, and from an operating role into her current life as an independent board director, adviser and, most recently, a mother.
Baby Rosie – the greatest disrupter – not only transformed Sands’ life personally but professionally, too, as she learned what a truly fearless changemaker looks like.
At Inspirefest 2017, she shared how she applies lessons learned from Rosie, and gave her top three tips for leaders everywhere to make change happen.
