Some Music That I Used to Love
What’s better than making a YouTube video parody? Making the parody that calls a stop to all other parodies, that’s what. Gotye’s delightful yet earwormy song ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ has been everywhere since its release last year, and comedian Eric Schwartz, AKA Smooth-E, has had enough. He may have loved the song on its initial release, but now that his granny has it as her ringtone, he thinks it’s time to call it off – YouTube-style (and with a shout out to Carly Rae Jepsen to boot).
