Network equipment maker Allied Telesyn has appointed Gavan Smyth as country manager to head all Irish sales operations. He will focus on implementing business plans with current Allied Telesyn resellers and recruiting new partners. Prior to joining the company, he worked at Fujitsu and oversaw business in the public, private and retail sectors, developing new business within the end-user and reseller channel marketplace.
