Computer Associates (CA) have appointed Sean O’Connell to the position of security consultant, CA technology services for Ireland. Sean joins CA as a result of the company’s ambition to achieve significant growth in the Irish operation by developing locally-based expertise and resources to provide better support for Irish customers and partners. His responsibilities will include providing consultancy to help customers develop their security strategies and policies and overseeing the implementation of security solutions. Sean joins CA from an Infineon Technologies security company, based in Dublin. His previous employers have included Siemens Ireland and Broadcom Research, a research and development company co-owned by Ericsson and Eircom.
